International Junior Piano Competition ClaMo Region of Murcia
Clamo Music in collaboration with different international entities celebrates from July 16 to 19, the I Clamo Music International Junior Piano Competition Region of Murcia.
The International Competition for the Youngest Talents
ClaMo Music, along with the collaboration with the ECONOMIC-CULTURAL CHINA-SPAIN corporation, presents the first edition of the International Youth Piano Competition ClaMo Region of Murcia 2019 as a fantastic opportunity for young amateurs as well as professionals who love the world of music, concretely that of the piano and wish to enjoy the musical coexistence during four days in the Region of Murcia.
Murcia is renowned for its fantastic climate, its cuisine, the hospitality of its people as well as its Auditorium and Orchestra. Being able to exchange knowledge, live together and share this experience with other colleagues from other nationalities, we consider it essential for the future of musicians through learning, networking, culture, friendship and an appropriate environment in which to develop their hobby or future piano career.
Enrollment
The International Youth Piano Competition ClaMo Región de Murcia 2019 in its first edition, is open to amateurs and professionals of all nationalities, including by categories the following ages:
Amateur Category
From 6 to 10 years old
From 11 to 15 years old
From 16 to 25 years old
Professional Category
From 11 to 15 years old *
From 16 to 18 years old *
*All minors must send via email an authorization signed by their parents or guardian

All candidates must submit their application to participate in the contest before June 1. Applications will be submitted through the registration form

The Followingdocuments are necessary for registration

Signed authorization of parents / guardians in the case of being a minor.

Brief curriculum or musical experience acquired.

Photography (300 dpi quality)

Receipt of payment. Candidates who do not submit all documentation and payment specified before June 1 will be excluded from the contest.

Name of the pieces / works that will be performed, both for the first round and for the second one in the case of being selected (first round maximum time: 5 minutes, second round: 10 minutes)

The possibility of a Video (MP4, WMV, AVI) or internet link to evaluate the artistic level of the candidate. The video is not mandatory, but preference will be given to those who do.
Participants
The Contest will take place from July 16 to 19 2019 in the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center, in the Miguel Ángel Clares hall.
The maximum number of participants is 150.
The works / pieces or songs will be freely chosen by the participant, never exceeding time.
The jury has the right to interrupt the work at any time.
The Contest will consist of two rounds, the first being 5 minutes per participant.
Only 20 of them will go to the second round (10 minutes per candidate), which does not exempt the rest of the participants from being able to continue enjoying and living during the contest.
Of the 20 selected for the second round, only 10 will be finalists and will perform a recital on July 19, Friday, in the Miguel Ángel Clares hall of the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center after the awards ceremony.
Registration
All applicants must pay the registration fee of € 80. The selection will be made after the deadline of June 1, 2019. Payments will not be reimbursed.
If the payment has not been made with its due receipt before June 1, 2019, the participant will be automatically suspended from the competition.

Both the flight and the hotel and lunches will be covered by the participant, although the ClaMo organization will be responsible for booking the hotels under a special offer.

Awards
All participants will receive a diploma after the contest.
Cash prizes will be taxed in accordance with current tax legislation in Spain..
In the case of the amateur / non-professional category, the prizes will be awarded to the 20 finalists:
- First Prize of 800€
- Second Prize of 400€
- Third Prize of 200€
- For the fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth the prize will be 80€
The remaining ten (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20) will receive a prize of 40€.
In the professional category, the prizes will be awarded to the 20 finalists:
- First Prize of 1000€
- Second Prize of 500€
- Third Prize of 300€
- For the fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth the prize will be 100€.
The remaining ten (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20) will receive a prize of 50€.
Duties of Participants
1. All rounds will be recorded in whole or in part by ClaMo Music so it is the organization to which all rights of image and sound belong.
2. The participants undertake to allow the communication and reproduction of the recordings of their performances free of charge.
3. Sending the registration form means accepting the conditions of participation and the decisions of the organization, the selection committee and the jury.
4. Performers must accept the conditions proposed by the organizers.
5. The decision of the Jury is unappealable.
